Milan’s attack for the vacant right-back slot is heating up and Juventus are the latest club to have enquired about the player.
Goal.com understands Juve have made enquiries over the past few days, with the Serie A outfit having already made enquires over the availability of Luka Modric and Giorgio Chiellini.
The Bianconeri have been in a strong position over the last few weeks with both Modric, the new Italy international, and Chielli, the young central defender, already playing in the Champions League.
With Modric’s move from Manchester City due to expire at the end of the month, Milan are hopeful that he will sign a new contract and be able to keep him.
Goal, however, has learned that Juventus have already made inquiries about Modric.
The Serie A club have been very active in the market over the coming weeks and the interest has been mutual.
However, Juventus are not keen on the idea of signing the young defender and want to keep Modric at the Stadio Olimpico.
Modric is currently on loan at Juventus from Manchester United, and the player is expected to leave for the Premier League side this summer.
Modrics contract expires in 2020, and Juventus have a strong interest in keeping him.
The 20-year-old is a big talent and has the potential to become a world-class player, but the Bianconeria want to hold on to the defender for a long time.
Juventus have also expressed an interest in Chiello, as the youngster is still only 23 years old.
Juventus will make a decision about whether to sell Modric this summer in the coming days.
Goal continues to follow the negotiations of the Juventus front office.
