The Northern Territory Government has launched an online insurance calculator to help people decide where to go for their next road trip.
The calculator will allow people to get a quick snapshot of where their car insurance is currently available.
The Government says the calculator will help motorists and other motorists decide where they want to go in order to plan their trip.
“The Northern Territory has an excellent road network and we have a strong economy, which means people can afford to spend their weekends on the roads and stay off the roads for longer periods,” Minister for Transport John Williams said.
“A car insurance calculator is an easy way for the community to compare prices and find out which insurance company is best for them.”
The calculator will also help to inform motorists about which road trip plans and other products are available in the NT and which are not.
“They can use this calculator to get an idea of where to buy their first car insurance policy.” “
People may be interested in a different insurance product or not have the time to look at all the options,” Mr Williams said in a statement.

If you’re in the Northern Territory, the Government is providing a roadside assistance tool to help you plan your trip.
Anyone wanting to take the calculator to their local police station should contact Policelink.
“For those who need roadside assistance, they can call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or provide information at the police station,” Mr Clark said. Loading
